Activities at Lied Lodge
The pool was where our family enjoyed a cold winter day. Complete with a kid area, everyone was busy for hours. The delicious dining, while on the nicer side, had the whole family enjoying something special. The staff is truly great in helping the littlest find something they will enjoy.
On a nice weather day, you can also enjoy the outdoor activities ,which includes the Tree Adventure. This adventure will have you hiking into the forest and being greeted by the Treetop Village, which are Tree Houses connected by unique bridges and netted walkways. There is also a 50-foot slide, you can keep sailing down and heading to the top for ultimate fun.
A Fun Girls Weekend
The lodge hosts wine tastings at the Apple House Market, along with shopping and a delicious BBQ restaurant.
Helpful Mom Tips:
- Bring pool toys, you can spend hours here and it is big enough to swim around on pool floats, throw balls, or dive sticks
- Also, don’t forget floaties for the little ones. With three pools to explore kids will be sure to hop from one spot to the next
- Layer up for Spring Travel. Nebraska is just like Kansas, only a few degrees cooler. Make sure to be prepared to enjoy the beauty of the full resort
- Bring snacks for the room. While they have a restaurant on site, picky eaters may prefer something that is familiar to them.
