There’s a brand new playground in Manhattan, and it’s up and ready for fun!
The Roger Schultz Community Park, formally known as the Park at Lea Mill Heights, is
located on Loma Ridge Dr. south of Miller Parkway near Scenic Drive. This newly erected playground offers two large, covered play structures with many climbing areas, multiple slides, and four swings. A large, covered structure has been erected with plans for picnic tables in the future.
A water fountain, including dog water fountains, is also available on-site. This park is walkable from most areas of the Lea Mill Heights and Miller Ranch neighborhoods and is easily accessible to all from Miller Parkway. Parking spots, including a handicapped spot, are available.
Benches line the south end of the playground for parents and caretakers and make a great spot to stop for a snack. This playground is at the entrance of the Roger Schultz Community Park, which additionally offers nature trails and beautiful views.

Put this playground on your list for the summer and check out all of the area parks in our guide here.
