Arrow Coffee

We love Arrow Coffee’s values, which focus on quality coffee, human connection, and thoughtfulness. You can also check out their cocktail lounge for delicious, upscale drinks in the Wareham Hotel. Open Tuesday – Saturday, 3 pm. – 10 p.m.

Location: 1800 Claflin Road, Manhattan 
Hours: Monday-Saturday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sundays, 7 a.m.- 3 p.m. Closed the first Monday of the month.
Food: Several breakfast and lunch options.

Bluestem Bistro

The smell of this place hasn’t changed since my high school and college days when it was first called Java. Now, Bluestem Bistro is still filled with the scents of baking pastries and breads. If you’re not a coffee drinker, check out their extensive selection of Italian and French sodas. One of the few coffee shops open late!

Location: 1219 Moro Street in Aggieville
Hours: Monday – Saturday, 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Sundays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Food: Sunday brunch, salads, soups, paninis, pastries and more.

The Brew Coffee Shop

This coffee shop is only open three days a week, but it’s worth a visit. The Brew offers a coffee menu along with non coffee drinks, kombucha and amazing seasonal creations. The food menu is unique with smoothie bowls, protein balls, paninis and pastries. Follow them on Facebook for fun monthly specials.

Hours: Thursday-Friday, 7:30 a.m – 1:30 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. – noon

Brothers Coffee Company

This shop is run by two couples who aim to connect and minister to the Manhattan community through coffee. They strive to create a welcoming environment for conversation. You can even book a curated picnic experience!

Location: 1437 Anderson Ave.
Hours: Monday – Saturday, 6:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Sundays, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Food: Pastries, sandwiches, soups and salads

Dearborn Coffee

Connected to The Village Geek, Dearborn serves coffee drinks, hot chocolate, teas and sodas. Check out their extensive list of board game nights and other gaming community events.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, noon – 10 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday, noon – 8 p.m.

Dusty Bookshelf

For over 25 years, students, professors, and the rest of the community have found their books on the corner of Manhattan & Moro.You’ll find plenty of cozy places to study, find a new to you book or just find a little peace. Kids can check out the children’s area for low cost The coffee shop serves hot and iced drinks. You can even order from your phone while you browse.

Flight Crew Coffee

Flight Crew began as an idea on how people should be treated in a service based industry, focused on the golden age of flight. The desire to spread a kindness that is now uncommon and provide a space where people feel at home, special, and able to create new connections with others became Flight Crew Coffee. If you really need a wake-up call, try the Nose Dive: 6 shots of espresso and white chocolate, over ice.

Galaxy Girl

Galaxy Girl Coffee started when the owner was in the Navy aiming to bridge the gap between DIY roasting and mass production. Located in Manhattan Town Center, Galaxy Girl serves espresso, coffee drinks, cider, cocoa and more.

The Outpouring MHK

What started as a mobile food truck, now is a walk-up or drive thru location! The Outpouring serves hand crafted espresso drinks, teas and soda. You’ll also still find them at the farmer’s market, and at local events.

Hours: Tuesday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Paramour Coffee

Paramour’s owner trained under the owner’s of Peet’s Coffee. They began roasting coffee 25 years ago and opened their first location off Main Street in Wamego. They have a second location at Grand Mere Village in Manhattan, which features a drive thru. You can also have their coffee delivered to your door with a subscription!

Radina’s Coffee

One of the key’s to Radina’s excellent coffee flavors is adhering to the 14-day rule for drinking coffee once it’s roasted. They focus on Italian coffee methods, and the grasshopper mocha and polar cappuccino are not to be missed you’re looking for an extra treat. They have multiple locations around Manhattan, on campus and in the Stormont Vail hospital.
