456 Wineries has multiple wineries under one roof. They are all individually licensed, and all are startup wineries utilizing space and equipment inside this business incubator. Visit for wine sampling and purchase opportunities! You can sample five wines for $5 and keep the glass. Additionally, there are vineyards on site and nearby for walking tours. Liquid Art Winery and Estate
Liquid Art Winery and Estate is perched in a quant location on top of a hill on the western side of Manhattan. It includes a tasting room, event center, full-production winery, and 20-acre Estate vineyard. Liquid Art Winery is one of the best places in Manhattan to relax, enjoy locally produced wines and ciders, and take in the beautiful views of the Flint Hills. Order some artisan pizzas and charcuterie boards to share along with your wine! Don’t forget to become a KSU Wine Club member. K-State Alumni Wine Club members enjoy quarterly shipments of Kansas made red, rosé or white wines to support the K-State Alumni Association.

Oz Winery
There’s no place like Oz Winery! Spend some time at this cute winery, located in the heart of downtown Wamego. Order a wine flight and sample their Wizard of Oz named wines. A few fun favorites include: Yellow Brick Road, Flying Monkey, and Squished Witch. You’ll also find wine accessories, hand-made chocolates, gourmet cheese from the Alma Creamery, cigars, and other fun Wizard of Oz themed goodies. Sign up for an Oz Winery membership and receive quarterly wine shipments, free monthly wine flights, and discounts.

Prairie Fire Winery
Located in the heart of the Flint Hills, Prairie Fire Winery has some of the best views in the state of Kansas! Drive about 30 minutes southeast from Manhattan, and it will be easy to see what I mean. The winery is located on 60 acres and produces 15 different wines including white, red, blush and sparkling, all from Kansas grown grapes. After sampling some wine, head out to see the rows and rows of grapes (there’s 33!). The highest point on the land, just a quick walk uphill, allows for some great photo opportunities as you can see for miles and miles in each direction.

Wyldewood Cellars Tasting Room
Wyldewood Cellars is a family owned Winery and Vineyard located in Peck, Kan., (with an additional tasting room located in Paxico). You can sample and buy their award-winning wines at the winery, their multiple tasting rooms, or at retail liquor stores all over Kansas. Note that A&H Farm in Manhattan carries Wyldewood Cellars wine. So you can enjoy a day at the farm and take home a bottle of wine for later.
