0

Cheer on your wildcats with a family outing to a K-State Volleyball game this season! Games are played at the new Morgan Family Arena; completed in 2023. It provides an electric atmosphere for rooting on the Wildcats! Use this guide for some helpful tips so you and your crew can enjoy the game.

Tips for Taking Kids to a K-State Volleyball Game

Tickets

Guests that are two and older need to present a ticket at the gate, and gates open one hour before the game starts. If available, accessible seating may be purchased in advance through the Athletics Ticket Office. K-State students, with a valid student ID, are admitted for free to all regular season home volleyball matches.

Clear Bag Policy

Guests are allowed to bring the following into The Morgan Family Arena:

  • A clear bag that is no bigger than 12” x 6” x 12″ (I bought mine here)
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag; and,
  • Small clutch bags, no larger than 5.5” x 7.5”, with or without a handle or strap.

If your family needs an item for medical or child care purposes, they are allowed in the stadium, but they must be in a clear bag, and will be inspected.

Parking

Fans may park for free in the West Lot of Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Parking will open 90 minutes prior to the first serve.

Inside the Arena

Men’s and women’s restrooms are located on both the upper and lower concourses of Morgan Family Arena. All restrooms have ADA accommodations and diaper changing stations. There are also family restrooms located on the lower concourse behind section 5 and on the upper concourse behind Section 10.

Nursing Mothers

A nursing mother’s area can be found in the northwest corner of the upper concourse, behind Section 5. Breast pumps and supplies are permitted, if they are carried in a dedicated bag specifically for the pump, which will be searched and tagged as a medical bag, or in a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag measuring 12” x 6” x 12” or less. The bag, pump, and supplies are subject to inspection. Plastic baby bottles are permitted into the arena but will be inspected by security upon entering.

Food and Drink

Concessions are available on the upper and lower concourses when arena doors open, one hour prior to first serve. Although I’ve been able to bring a few snacks for my toddler, do note that outside food is not technically allowed into the arena.

Lost and Found

Oh no! Did you leave something at the arena? Not a problem! Just contact an event staff team member by calling Athletic Operations at 785-532-7600.

Mom Tips

  • If you sign up your child for a Junior Wildcat Club membership they get free admission to the games (as well as many other benefits, that make it a great value).
  • K-State Athletics has transitioned to entirely cashless payment systems; fans can use credit/debit cards.
  • Grab a program for your crew to take home! Match programs are FREE and can be found at the Fan Experience Booth, located on the lower east concourse.
  • There are water fountains located on the lower and upper concourses.
  • Bring along noise-cancelling headphones for little ears; the games can get quite loud.
  • Familiarize yourself with the fan map prior to the game.
