The Riley County Historical Society & Museum will again be hosting their 2nd Annual Historic Sunset Cemetery Walking Tour on Saturday, Nov. 4.
Participants will walk throughout the scenic and historic cemetery with guides who will share accounts of the cemetery’s history and tell the stories of notable residents from Riley County.
Tours will begin every 15 minutes starting at 10 a.m. with the last tour departing at noon. Reservations are not required, but tours are limited to 20 people per group. Each tour will last 45 minutes to an hour. Parking is at the Manhattan High School adjacent to the cemetery.
There will be a $5 per person donation and proceeds will go to the Riley County Historical Society‘s ongoing historic preservation efforts.
