The colorful Wamego Tulip Festival is a great weekend activity for the whole family. Each spring, the City of Wamego showcases vibrant tulips to thousands of visitors along with more than 150 craft vendors at the Wamego City Park.

Free parking is available on side streets surrounding Wamego City Park.

The festival boasts more than 150 craft and artisan vendors from around the region. Activities specifically for kids include:

- Face Painting (multiple locations)
Mom Tips
- Don’t miss the other fun features at the Wamego City Park including the Prairie Town Village, War Cannon, Rose Garden, Emerald City Playground, Fishing Pond (shaped like a whale!), a 17-ton boulder, and 300+ trees. The children’s train will not be running during the festival but it’s great for your return trip!
